National Standard Multi-Code Oval Construction
Typical of many of the civil projects undertaken by AMPM is the Quad Park Main Oval which was being constructed to National Code standard to host a variety of football codes.
AMPM was appointed as Project Managers for this project reporting to both Quad Park Corporation as our direct client, and to the project sponsors: Caloundra City Council and Queensland State Government.
AMPM's strategic procurement produced a saving of around $700,000 compared to the previous abortive tender for the project.
AMPM also incorporated a unique "thinking outside the square" design solution that solved the common problems of spectators being too distant from the action in 'multi-code' sports fields. This was a real value adding solution that will be appreciated by the Client and all future users.
