AMPM became involved in this project after the Community Hall Facility had been in sketch design for several years. A number of independent cost experts had placed the build at $1.1 million, well over the available funding of $600,000.
A critical look at the construction methodology, site location and orientation and scope requirements has enabled the project to progress through design development. The key benefits delivered by AMPM to this project involved a review to develop the concept with improved functionality to meet school and user group needs whilst being capable of being delivered on budget.
AMPM's involvement included full project management services tailored to optimising project outcomes and requirements, from delivery through to concept design level, after which the project was delivered under the BER program.
